Since the chambers’ inception over 40 years ago first as the Bordentown Chamber of Commerce to our present name – Burlington Mercer Chamber of Commerce, we have been recognized and respected for our impressive stature in the community. With our record of extraordinary economic and community development through the years and our rich legacy of leadership, be assured the BMCC will continue to build in the Greater Burlington and Mercer Region and surrounding areas.
We are an active chamber that looks to advance its members’ growth and prosperity, and provide increased opportunities and value for its membership. The Chamber advocates for and unites the business community, conveys business interests to policy-makers and advances the region’s economic health. To carry out this mission, the Chamber serves as the voice of business and involves the public sector in community leadership.
In addition to vibrant committee work in Advocacy, Community Development, Membership Services, the Chamber provides several unique monthly networking opportunities for members. This includes our special events during the year including the Annual Street Fair (43rd year next spring), the Expo (in the fall) and our Hidden Treasure Calendar – these events provide thousands of dollars in Business and Art Scholarship money to area students, and our Holiday Dinner Dance providing food basket donations to St. Mary’s Food Bank.
